Oldest human photo - 1848...maybe

I wonder what the exposure time was? I think it would have been a long time, but not sure how long - minutes or hours. If the photo is real then they must have been standing there for the majority of the time.


ETA. The link says the photos took minutes to expose.

The note further down about the earlier one in Paris says it took 10 minutes to expose.
 
It must have been a matter of minutes after the invention of the camera that a nude woman was being photographed. Now, that shot I'd like to see. Old porn haunts me. Who was she? What became of her?
 
I can just imagine the nude models having to stand still for 10 minutes or so. I hope they were well paid.
No worse than posing for a painting or a sketch. One of the reasons pre-photographic nudes tend to have a similar look is because the models were posed where they could hold the position comfortably.

Doubtful this photo had an exposure time of 8 hours
