Oklahoma city bombing CTs

i heard bill cooper speak about the oklahoma bombing once.

He said that the building was a "hard target", meaning, in cooper's eyes at least, that the truck bomb could not have caused the damage it did.

What exactly caused a huge portion of the federal building to be scooped out?
 
You're talking about a man who, in his last moment of life, murdered a police officer.
 
This is the first I've heard of the building being blast proof.
 
The New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology did a full scale test. They found Dr. Corley's blast calculations were correct and not the conspiracy theorists'. Surprise Surprise.

I think that there might have been a bigger conspiracy than the three people who were convicted. There were some strong connections between McVeigh and Nichols and a community of racists called Elohim City.

I think if the FBI had obtained evidence or had sufficient testimony to implicate members of the Elohim City commune, they'd have stormed the place. If anyone at EC had given material or financial support that they knew was going towards destruction of the Murrah Building, I don't think McVeigh would have ridden the needle at Marion unless a case was built against the EC people first.

All indications are McVeigh and Nichols acted alone, with some outside support from Michael Fortier.

IIRC, Michael Fortier and his wife were released from prison not too long ago and immediately went into the Witness Protection Program. Makes sense really.

It's weird that when a small group of crazies causes such devastation, people can't believe that it was just a few of them. It's like people need an international conspiracy. Oklahoma City, Sept. 11th, you name it. The attacks in Mumbai were like 8 dudes or something, but initial reports claimed it was an army. Humans are capable of some really amazing things that they don't get credit for, both good and evil.
The New World Order blew up the Murrah building like martians built the pyramids. :rolleyes:

The Murrah building is also a pretty big argument against explosives being used in the WTC attacks.

There were windows smashed out for BLOCKS around the Murrah building.

Open and shut cases make for the best conspiracies. After all it could only be shut if the conspiracy forced it shut, right? :rolleyes:

there are quite a few actually. Some were anti-Clinton MIHOP. These often quoted a lie that nobody from the ATF reported to work at the building that day. (actually several ATF employees were not only at work, but were injured.)

The other school of CTs said that Saddam was responsible. Unfortunately, one of the lead proponents of this idea was a woman professor (Laurie Mylroie) who not only wrote a book about it, but was popular among some of the Iraq War cheerleaders under the Bush administration. Richard Perle wrote the glowing blurb for her book on this supposed tie. She also thought that Al Quida was a "front group" for Saddam. In case you're wondering what harm CTs can do, they can do a lot when people in power start to buy into them...
