• Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.

Ok, time for me to stop procrastinating.

This is thread is mainly for my movie team: Unsecured Coins, Mobyseven, and enigma.

First off, I want to ask if there's any particular format or style you'd like my script written in. What I currently have probably looks nothing like any official scriptwriting format. It roughly has the appearance of HTML code. Here's an example of how I would command the very first frame of "Loose Change 2nd Edition Recut" written in my style:

<BACKGROUND: Black>
<TEXT: Color--white; size--small; location--center; entry--letter-by-letter: "Loose Change 2nd Edition contains unlicensed footage, including, without limitation, blah blah blah...">

Will that do for y'all? Most of it should be intuitive, but I imagine some parts will be somewhat confusing and you'll need to ask for clarification. So if there's any particular script style you'd like, just say so.

Also, you will all need to download Real Alternative in order to play some of the sound files that'll be in my script. They use some weird codec that can't be open with most audio/video players. You could also use the original RealPlayer, but it sucks.

That's all for now, if I think of anything else I'll put it in this thread. Script should be ready by next week at the latest.

works for me. if you can just throw me a script that's legible I can work with that. Regular old Word format in wingding fonts so l33t h4x0rs can't get the scoop on the 411.

The best thing to do would be to get Celtx - it's what I write all my scripts in, and it's fantastic as an all round production tool.

Of course, if you don't want to, that's fine as well - I'm happy with working with whatever you've got. You can use Celtx to produce professional quality scripts though.

As for downloading the program - I'll check if they run on VLC first (no need to waste my precious d/ls!) and if they don't I'll grab that program.
