Forget the dull story about Obama vs Osama (after all, they've had 10 years to do the job), this sounds like more fun.

Unless you are Donald Trump, of course. ;)

Gotta love these gags though.....

But Mr Obama was ribbed, too, by Mr Meyers – and often pointedly. The comedian pointed out how the shine has come off the president and office has aged him – "Look at your hair. If your hair gets any whiter, the Tea Party is going to endorse it".

And the comedian concluded with speculation about his coming re-election campaign. "I'll tell you who could beat you: 2008 Barack Obama," he said. "You would have loved him."

Trump must be calling all his aids to try and figure out how he was responsible for the killing of Bin Laden. The press conference will probably be around 10am eastern, and have something to do with a birth certificate and bankruptcy.

Don't tell me Obama wants to build a damn golf course in Scotland now?

:dl:

Man, Obama has style. I don't think I've ever heard of a President doing a Colbert movement on one of his critics :D

What's cooler is Obama doing this roast, with the imminent operation in Pakistan, not knowing at that stage how things would pan out.

Agreed, but at the same time Obama has got zero comedic timing. Maybe he's a bit looser in person, but I find his delivery halting and filled with "ums" and "uhhs". I actually don't think he's that great an orator.

Sour grapes much?

I thought his best-delivered line of the whole night was his opening one: "My fellow Americans..." He really nailed it with just those three words. After that, everything else was gravy.
