Obama has done plenty...

I would like to clarify that our President has not sat on his laurels the last 2 years doing nothing about our problems here in the United States. There is plenty he has done. I don't know what it takes to drill it through to people, but listening to the likes of Sean Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, and Joe Pags will not help create a clear picture of the accomplishments and goals of the leaders of this nation.
People here on the JREF (certain people) enjoy hopping the fear-mongering bandwagon, throwing away the process of skepticism and critical thinking, and echoing the diatribes of "what Limbaugh said" or "what Michael Savage said" instead of trying to weigh the pros and cons of what is actually happening in this country. JREFfers (certain ones) will echo that Fox News is a great news source and will criticize every other news source that's available including not only US mainstream news but also international sources such as Al-Jazeera, CBC, the BBC, and Iranian news. In other words, I'm supposed to listen to some JREFfer tell me if I'm not watching American news then I am, in essence, Un-American! Ummmm, no, that's not the way it works. If I am un-American, I would not be paying taxes, I would not be working in order to pay taxes and I would not vote nor would I care to vote. Also, what makes a person "un-American" could be that they like to make negative comments about this country and about those who are leaders of this country! Hmmm? You know who I just described? Certain JREFfers!!
Yes, I happen to watch Al-Jazeera from time to time! What of it? It's news! It's not drama like what you have with Fox News or any other U.S. News for that matter! If there were a U.S. Bureau for Al-Jazeera maybe then people in this country would be better informed instead of relying on "what Limbaugh said" or "what Michael Savage said". There would be proper discourse when discussing issues instead of bickering all the time.
If there is anything close to Al-Jazeera in this country that's REALLY news-worthy it would have to be C-SPAN. You don't have any fluff or drama that give you headaches when you watch C-SPAN!! It's news and proper commentary (although I do get the impression that some Fox News junkies watch Washington Journal - just listen to the dialog of some of the callers)!

Not everyone voted for him. So, I guess your saying that those who voted for him failed.
