Apparently Glenn Beck thinks Obama sent back a bust of Churchill because of his grandfather that he never met.

A White House spokesperson says the Churchill bust was removed before Obama's inauguration as part of the usual changeover operations, adding that every president puts his own stamp on the Oval Office.

Apparently the bust was a loaner as well, loaned to GWB to be returned.

Oh. The first time I heard there had ever been a bust of Churchill in the Oval Office was when Cicero told me the reason I held some opinion he disagreed with was that I was angry with Obama for sending it back!

Why? It's true. I remember when he was first given it, it was in the news for some reason, but it because Bush had professed to Churchill being his personal hero. He's not Obama's hero, why should he be obliged to keep the furnishings of the last guy that had the office. IF you started doing that the amount of junk that would accumulate would mean there was no room for anyone to get any work done. And for things that aren't on loan, I'm pretty sure there is some Presidential museum or something where that staff gets archived for posterity.
