Obama: Kanye West is a jackass

I think it's good that your President is able to say things like that - to call a jackass a jackass. It's good that he can have a beer with a black professor and a trigger-happy cop. That he can order Colbert's head shaved. It makes him more a real human being and less the product of a political machine.

I just wish more Americans could see that.

I expect Glenn Beck to tie this with the "you lie" thing somehow. Not sure how -- crazy talk isn't my native languge -- but that's what I expect.
 
And on the recording I listened to, he started to mention PETA in relation to the interview he did during which he killed a fly. If only they had continued to roll tape.
 
Oh, he went on Leno and got a little teary-eyed and said he was going to take some time off and think on his sins. He'll be back and at the top of the charts in no time. And he'll make an ass of himself in six months.
 
This is a lot more polite than some of the things bush said in the pre-interview chatter. I remember reading about some pretty vulgar stuff. Jackass is about the mildest presidential comment I'd expect.

I don't understand why people expect that Obama won't have an opinion on current events. Maybe it's been too long since we had a president that followed anything but terrorism reports and the religious vote.

Maybe he shoulda said it on record. It could have been an easy "Sister Soulja moment" for him. I mean, nobody is defending West on this one.

It's heart warming to see the country, even enemies, uniting in anger against Kanye.

North and South Korea issued joint statements condemning Kanye being near any nuclear plants.

Israel has agreed to create a Palestinian state, and even supply them with soda, if Hamas will issue a fatwa against West.

Canada and Norway have agreed to join forces in search of a super-ice, putting aside a long time rivalry and mutual hatred. This ice will be used to encase West until a time that science has found a cure for his brand of stupid.

Wales agreed to record a message of hate for West on a road sign, in English.

Australian men have stopped surfing and starting wild fires long enough buy Kanye albums in order to burn them in the wild fires.

Adam West legally changes his name to Adam We to avoid any association with Kanye West. Plus nobody messes with Adam We.

You're right. It's ludicrous that Obama should even have to take time to rebut some of the stupid birtherism, death panel, and other idiocy that jackasses like Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, and Glenn Beck keep slinging at him.

Oh wait, were we talking about some other jackass? ;)
