EXCLUSIVE: Obama loosens missile technology controls to China

President Obama recently shifted authority for approving sales to China of missile and space technology from the White House to the Commerce Department -- a move critics say will loosen export controls and potentially benefit Chinese missile development.

Obama ... finishing what Clinton started ... and probably for the same reasons.

For those who don't know, Gary Locke is the current Secretary of Commerce thanks to Obama. He lobbied for the Chinese before taking this position. And he was involved in Chinagate during the Clinton Administration in that he accepted campaign cash from John Huang (Chinese spy, convicted Chinagate criminal and good friend of Bill Clinton). Well this is dumb. To be honest, I'm not upset about shifting it from the White House, but...it would make more sense for it to go to Defense instead of Commerce. Doomed to repeat history, I suppose.

Yeah, okay I admit it, that's some scary stuff. And it is interesting. But we'd probably get tossed to conspiracy theories if it was discussed in depth. Actually, I've never searched CT for threads about the things during a former administration that I question. I'll have to do that later. Might be interesting.

my post was on the topic. The H1N1 flu killed Vince Foster at the Commerce Dept. Got It.

The DOD should be in charge not the Commerce guys.
