Are CO emissions and other emissions likely to be clear? The reason I ask is...around here, we have days where the sky is a deep robin's egg blue with none of that tan color at the horizon.

And isn't there talk of heightened solar activity? Shouldn't scientists know what our atmosphere is now comprised of, compared to what it was, fairly recently?, and know where the heat is coming from that is melting the ice?

He's right about one thing, though - that already, the sudden difference in temperature is starting to make life tougher for many people. This is something a lot of people don't really realize - there are still quite a few who think GW is something that'll hurt their children or grandchildren. Tell that to the people who built houses on permafrost in Russia.

Actually, the recent year has been fairly cold due to reduced solar activity. So no.

So what's up with this solar activity stuff, anyway? I heard there was a 5% variation on energy output, which would translate to about 15 degrees average at around 300 Kelvin. That would seem to swamp the 1-6 degrees for AGW.
