At least three facilities have been named for Beamer: a post office in Cranbury, New Jersey, Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way, Washington, and the Todd M. Beamer Student Center at Wheaton College.

Beamer was posthumously awarded with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award in 2002.

Of course the 'truth' heros are still alive but no Nobel Prize yet for DRG? (Hell, no Pultizer prize even.) No Oscar for Dylan Avery? No monument in Austin for Alex Jones? Will we have to wait for the passing of these brave warriors before we honor them?

Will we even remember them in 10 years?

Last time I was in Austin a couple of weeks ago, I made a statue of Alex Jones. Then I flushed.

What's the attitude towards Jones in Austin and Texas at large? The closest thing we have to him here is the local Rush Limbaugh clone and the guy with the giant ‘Repent Before The Final Judgment’ sign who’s seen downtown every Sunday for the last decade.

Edit: Come to think of it, the bible thumpers with ‘The End Is Near’ signs have been staples of cartoons since the New Yorker began publishing in the 1920s. Is that sort of mocking the only mention the truthers will get in the MSM ten years from now?

Kristen Breitweiser was awarded the 2005 Ridenhour Truth-Telling Prize. Some of the other Jersey girls(Lorie Van Auken, Patty Casazza, Mindy Kleinberg) were named by Glamour Magazine as "Women of the Year" for 2004.

Kristen Breitweiser said this regarding Paul Thompson,

Paul Thompson’s exhaustive and richly detailed research has now provided the world with a veritable treasure trove of 9/11 information. If you want to know everything about 9/11, you must read this book. If you want to better understand 9/11, you must read this book. Our intelligence agencies should be recruiting people like Paul Thompson, because he’s brilliant.”

Lorie Van Auken said this regarding David Ray Griffin's new book,

"When the smoke finally cleared from the pile of rubble on September 11, 2001, we were left with a host of burning questions. The 9/11 Commission did not provide the answers, despite their extensive mandate. 9/11 Contradictions is a work that needed to be written. With characteristic clarity and focus, David Ray Griffin masterfully lays out the most critical of these questions. Now the challenge is to finally get real answers."

So what's stopping you all from getting the "real answers" yogi? The big, bad gubmit?
