Ok so my Mum saw this drug on one of the worst TV shows in existance. But I swung by their website http://www.metabolic.com.au/

And on the surface it looks legitimate, they claim to have done a placebo controlled trial lasting 12 weeks, that showed positive results. I don't know if it was double blind or randomised at this stage.

I have never come across a place that cold be legitimate since I started investigating this sort of stuff, so now that it has passed the first sniff test, I am at a loss as to what to do next.

Any suggestions on how I go about confirming they are on to something, and then getting someone I know into any further trials they might do?

Thanks for your help.

Looks legit enough.

In the U.S., pharmaceutical companies often conduct trials with the help of one or more universities and hospitals, who actually recruit the participants, and I'm guessing the procedure is much the same in Australia. The company mentions a professor in the press release.

You could call the company and ask who will be conducting the final human trials.

It would help if you, S.D. named the drug rather than making us slog thru the company's website.

A cursory look at the website has me thinking they're legit, w/o regard to the drug in question.

Oops :o Sorry. The drug has only the sooper sekrit codename of AOD9604.

OK, so basically it seems legit, and I just contact the guys about trials.

Thanks.

There's been new research over the past year or so about various ways to force the body to continually burn fat as if exercising, and other such triggers. I'm not entirely sure when this stuff will be coming on the market but I'm having a hella time burning these last 50 pounds off :-(
