Taking place July 11 to 14, 2019; in Manhattan (that's in NYC), at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Carl Zimmer is the Keynote speaker. He's done a lot for parasites, you know... I mean in a scientific research sense, that is.

Comedian Leighann Lord, is once again, the MC. She's held that role for a few years now, so that's nothing new.

Every evening there is some sort of show or social gathering to keep you up at night, if you want it.

I will be at NECSS too, volunteer as always, been to all of them and a volunteer at all of them.

For those who have not attended, I have to say you are missing out on a great conference. I don't usually get to see much of the conference but I always enjoy the bits I get to see. The speakers are all really great and the panel discussions are handled so well. I never really enjoyed the panels at TAM but NECSS does an amazing job of having great moderators that keep the panels on point, I always enjoy it when I can see them.

Do you want me to add you to the table? If so, shall I add your real name? I think you attended all of the NECSSes, or are there any you missed? Who is your favorite member of BlackPink? (Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like any of them are skeptically inclined. Lisa, for example, seems to believe in ghosts. Fortunately, the column isn't terribly relevant to anything, so perhaps it doesn't matter.)

You can add me to the table, don't put my real name though. I was going to add myself to the table but was being lazy and figured I would probably mess up the table if I did. I have attended all the NECSSes and was volunteer at all of them. I can't say who my favorite member of BlackPink is, I prefer Mamamoo, myself.
