The news reports for the last couple of months have all commented on the upsurge in attacks in Afghanistan, and the resurgent power of the Taliban forces.
There have been numerous reports of clashes between Taliban fighters, and they generally say something to the effect of "NATO forces kill 43 enemy" or somesuch. There have been many of these blurbs, and I don't recall a single instance of any numbers of NATO soldiers killed or wounded.
To listen to the stuff coming in from Reuters and other services, you'd think that the NATO guys were invulnerable. Is it the policy of NATO to not report casualties?
If so, it would seem we're not getting a clear picture of what's going on over there.
