Documentary "Voices From the Air" Tonight on National Geographic Channel, I asked that they use Brad pitt for me in the dramatization, but I don't think they followed through with it. On Thu - 11 PM, Fri - 10 PM, Sat - 9 PM, and Sun at 10 PM. I haven't seen it. Hope it turns out ok, it was done by Darlow Smithson, well known for their documentaries.
 
Actually I don't think it is on in the US until Sunday night, in the UK the other nights.

Maybe they'll get Ed Asner to play the "Voice Morphing Computer".

Or Charlie Sheen as ... as ... as ... oh, hell, there's got to be a role for a coke sniffing, booze swilling, whore-mongering ... I KNOW...!!

I've already got my dvr set up to record it.

I tried to watch it. I really did. But dammit, too many moments made me have to flip the channel away. Many of us recall the one exchange between controllers about Flight 93 ("WATSON: United nine three, have you got information on that yet? WASHINGTON CENTER: Yeah, he's down. WATSON: What—he's down? WASHINGTON CENTER: Yes. WATSON: When did he land? Because we have confirmation— WASHINGTON CENTER: He did—he did—he did not land.).

Even after all this time, some parts are just too hard to listen too. One of the documentaries before - the one about the firefighters that had the Naudet footage - was hard to watch too. Yes, I've seen the videos of the victims who jumped from the buildings before, but that doesn't make rewatching it any easier.

No, it also didn't help that Sunday Night Football was also on. But even if it weren't, it was still a tough view for me.
 
The Fireman Stories was the one that I found the hardest to watch. Especially the firetruck driver that had to bring himself to drive over what he knew were body parts. There isn't enough bourbon on the planet to erase that memory! I can't get it out of MY head.........and I am just imaging what he saw.

Did anyone watch the Conspiracy and Science Episode?
 
It was hard for me to watch, but then once I realized that there were no victims or planes, and the firefighters were in on the plot, it was a little easier

The event on the Smithsonian channel last night brought a similar response from me... not easy at all to watch again.
 
You know you never know how much you will be in one of these and was quite surprised I was in it as much as I was. I watched the other shows as well, and still find it difficult to watch. Of course I am very critical of my self, but I was glad to see my friend Joe finally speak on the 9-11 subject, it was his first time and you could see it in his emotions. I get to speak to several history classes tomorrow at a local middle school, and I like that, most of those kids I will speak tomorrow were 2 or 3 years-old when this happened. It is an opportunity for them to learn about it first hand.

I'm sorry, I'm fairly new here. You were in one of the 9/11 documentaries this weekend?
That's great that you get to go share your experiences with the next generation of kids that may take an interest in this subject. At least to the degree that you can share what actually happened before they start hearing all the nonsense that is out there.

Colin, I'm sorry to say that I missed it. Hopefully, it will be broadcast locally tonight or, alternatively, the video will soon be available on the NatGeo site.

It difficult to watch any of them. I have sen the video of the plane hitting the tower countless times, and every time, I am reminded of the numerous innocent lives instantly ended. :(
