Post premier confession:
I tried to watch it. I really did. But dammit, too many moments made me have to flip the channel away. Many of us recall the one exchange between controllers about Flight 93 (
"WATSON: United nine three, have you got information on that yet? WASHINGTON CENTER: Yeah, he's down. WATSON: What—he's down? WASHINGTON CENTER: Yes. WATSON: When did he land? Because we have confirmation— WASHINGTON CENTER: He did—he did—he did not land.).
Even after all this time, some parts are just too hard to listen too. One of the documentaries before - the one about the firefighters that had the Naudet footage - was hard to watch too. Yes, I've seen the videos of the victims who jumped from the buildings before, but that doesn't make rewatching it any easier.
No, it also didn't help that Sunday Night Football was also on. But even if it weren't, it was still a tough view for me.
