OMG! I just got back from a walk around Lake Washington. Thank Jebus I had my camera with me! There it was, right in front of me a serpentine figure, floating in the water! Whatever it was it weren't no otter. You skeptics and your otters... To me it looks like the head of the beast is analogous to that of a cobra... But you gotta see the original in all its mega-pixel glory, as you can totally see the monster's eyes and it's gaping maw... That awful, silvery, gaping maw!

I should probably forward this to a cryptozoological expert, maybe someone with an Internet blog. Maybe they can do photoanalysis on it. Maybe they can find individual scales, or maybe scars from where a terror stricken fisherman did mortal combat with the beast, leaving scars and abscesses. I mean, on the monster that is...

I can't believe the folks on shore were so blase'! Didn't they see the same beast I did? Maybe the monster was hypnotizing them, or maybe sniffing them.

Can't it be a tree branch partially sunk in the water and partially sticking out?
Then again why settle on the boring and ordinary when we could assume fantasy? It is much more exciting that way isn't it?

It's obviously a elephant, gone in to cool off (or whatever elephants do in
water). c'mon are you blind!? The guy on the chair is clearly in a "Wow, it's
an elephant!" sort of posture) :D

May I ask for a 100% crop from the full-resolution image showing "the original in all its mega-pixel glory, as you can totally see the monster's eyes and it's gaping maw... That awful, silvery, gaping maw!"?

You got it, dude! You can totally see its eye, and the head is flared out like a cobra's!

Don't worry, the aliens will save us!

I almost cried when I saw this... to think.. this whole time I thought aliens and the loch ness monster wasnt real... how wrong Ive been.

And just why did you not immediately alert those poor helpless citizens that were oblivious to the slithering horror creeping up on them? Instead you reach for your camera and calmly take a picture instead of breaking the mental lock the terrible beast had upon them?

I'm disgusted.

The aliens are moving in to check it out. Look out, Nessie, they're armed with a strange alien weapon!

Half-sunken street lamp?

:D

The second street lamp reference I've read in as many weeks! I love Fark...

But whatever it is, I blame Bill Gates. Who knows what kinds of genetic monstrosities he's breeding in his compound on the shores of that lake?
