My experience at loose change

I just wanted to note that I had a pretty good day over there. I think there are some reasonable people. There are some jerks but then there are some here also.

I'm not fond of the ham fisted rhetoric and the appeal to simply follow my instinct but overall it was fine.

And I made my displeasure known about Chipmunk's treatment. I don't know what response I'll get if I continue there. I'm not sure if I have the time.

Who knows.

You should check the forum again. The moderator is telling you to change your mind or the thread goes in the bin...

Randman, soon you may be relegated to 'that other forum' again.

No offense but you are either a slow learner of you have no intention of learning the truth. I believe it's the latter.

I'll be moving the this thread there momentarily.

They only seem to welcome non-believers because they think they can convert them within a day.

What's the deal with JFK's post in this thread at Apr 1 2006, 04:48 AM (at least that's the time displayed to me).
Darksaga,
I am glad that my tax dollars are supporting THIS corporation..... NOT ! ninja.gif

I can see that they waste my money by having their employees use their computing resources on forums such as this one.....in the manner which they do. angry.gif

Roxdog, I think that we must be making some waves. Perhaps we should make some more by contacting this employer and having its IT department start checking logs......... Much better than banning IMHO. wink.gif

It looks to me like one of the admins is threatening to expose one of the posters IRL based on an IP address. But that can't be right, can it?

RandFan,

I commend you on your handling of the Why WTC7? thread. Your success with avoiding common rhetorical pitfalls is enviable.

I've fallen into many of them myself over there.

I'm not going to engage in much more discussion there myself until I've looked at some of the things they suggested, because they tend to use my not having looked at them as a reason to dismiss anything I have to say.

LC isn't that bad as far as entertainment is concerned. I had fun creating a list of BS. Some of the claims made are laugh out loud funny.

I'm not sure how much I can tolerate. I get tired of people getting pissy because you refuse to drink their kool aide.

Hey Chipmunk, I think I'm in the same boat. I've already been asked a couple of times to do my "homework". So, is Loose Change on line or do I have to go to a theatre? I thought there would be a FAQ explaining it but I didn't see it. I didn't try too hard though.

Holy Mackeral. Talk about true believers. It's apparent from reading that thread how deep they are into this cult.

But I'll have to admit, the collapse of WTC 7 is an oddity.
Probably the only other coincidence of equal significance is the Bush/Securacom connection.

Roxdog and Zor are especially tiring. The fact that TheQuest drops in every once in a while to cheerlead them and make threats is just pathetic. I get the feeling they've all been picked on a lot in real life.

So posting seems to me like an exercise in futility. Few of them are willing to sit down and go over the facts. What valid points are made by anyone are swamped by complete stupidity.

I admire what chipmunk has been doing, but I just don't have the time and energy to back you up. I only make posts over there when I know there's nothing more productive to do with my time. It's just enough to bump the relevant threads often enough that someone doubting the cult might stumble across the JREF.

It's out on either video.google.com or youtube.com, I can't remember which.

They pulled the plug in only the second day.

They are cowards!

WTC 7 was no mystery or coincidence. It had been struck by falling debris and was on fire.
Well there's no evidence to suggest otherwise, I agree.
And "coincidence" is maybe an inappropriate descriptive. But exactly why it collapsed is still somewhat of a mystery.
I presume that's why SEAoNY (Structural Engineers Association of New York) is still investigating and is due to release a report on the collapse of 7.

A "coincidence" would be more on the order of the President's brother, Marvin Bush, being a director in the company, Securacom, which provided security services for the World Trade Center, United Airlines and Dulles airport. And the President's cousin, Wirt Walker, being associated with this as well.

Recognizing that there is such a thing as "coincidence" does not require one to relinquish one's "skeptics card". :)

Much of the reason the "9-11 Truth Movement" was born is because so much attention is given to these rare events of such notoriety. Same as with the Kennedy assassination. Same as with the Moon Landings. Same as with the death of Elvis.
Whenever thousands of "investigators" put every conceivable aspect of something of this size and scope under a microscope, many coincidences will be revealed. It goes with the territory and it's to be expected. If there were no coincidences then it really would be a mystery. :)

Yeah, but when the Marvin's inolvement with the company, and the company's involvement with the WTC was minimal by 9/11, it pretty much becomes a case of six degrees of seperation:

My new approach is to treat them all like kindergarteners.

ETA They are very big babies, but an image of that size wasn't necessary! Sorry, Dragon!
