I assume that when the buggy whip business crashed, at least some of the manufacturers tried to diversify into headlights. Now that 9-11 Truthiness has collapsed at faster than freefall speed, the nutbars are trying the same tactic.

The mandate of the site will remain a focus on 9/11 information that is not covered by the corporate press. The tag line up top says, "Paying Attention to 9/11 Related Alternative News", however, 9/11 was not an isolated event. I intend to broaden the mandate of the site, and connect serious researchers into recent, and not-so-recent events that bear the hallmarks of "covert operations". This includes the Oklahoma City Bombing, the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing, the assassinations of JFK, RFK, MLK, and other incidents rife with patsies, and obscured with disinformation.

I hope that all of your summers are going well. I have some news and am just going to go right into it: During the past year and a half we have accomplished a lot on behalf of demanding justice, accountability, and closure in regard to 9/11. However, 9/11 is part of a much larger picture. A picture that encompasses many forms of government corruption that need to be addressed and brought to the forefront of everyone's consciousness (i.e. election fraud, wars of aggression, domestic spying, torture, etc.).

Accordingly, it is with great enthusiasm that I am announcing to you all that a new organization is in the works, Young American for Accountability (YAFA). This is not to say that we are in any way retreating from our 9/11 activism in any way. What we hope to accomplish with this new organization is to focus on the larger picture and broaden our coverage of issues.

As Mikey Metz pointed out, Justin may just be resume polishing; Young Americans for Accountability sounds more respectable than Student Scholars for 9-11 Truth. But I don't think there's any doubt that the market for 9-11 Truth is drying up faster than the sliderule business in the 1970s.

As Mikey Metz pointed out, Justin may just be resume polishing; Young Americans for Accountability sounds more respectable than Student Scholars for 9-11 Truth. But I don't think there's any doubt that the market for 9-11 Truth is drying up faster than the sliderule business in the 1970s.

Good post Brainster, thanks for the info. I've been noticing this attempt at diversification as well. For a movement that has never had a specific goal, or any semblance of cohesion amongst themselves, this new move will just make them look even more unfocused and pointless than they already are. It should be interesting to watch. Truther meltdowns make for great entertainment.

I stand corrected. This is an industrial grade catastrophic failure of such monumental proportions that it will be told, and retold throughout the ages to generation after generation of debunkers. :D

I must say that Headhunter who used to post on LCF did say the truth movement would go supernova but this isn't what he envisioned yet we all knew this would be their ultimate end.

Where "Scholars" and "Blogger" appear to be merely re-lableing their product for marketing purposes, Sofia appears to be regressing. "Weather Terrorism" sounds like a sure setup to discuss and carry on about....drum roll please.....

Are there any planned festivities? I know that the last two years by this time they were already plugging their galas with a program of speeches and movies. Nothing's being advertised at the NY kooks site or (as far as I can see) at the NY We Are Change chapter. I know that Willie Nelson was talking about doing some sort of benefit concert, but as to whether it would be in Austin or in New York was not yet settled. 9-11 Blogger doesn't show any events scheduled for that week as yet.

Is zero taken? I think there are going to be a few taking the noble path (knowing that they'll get no turn out again, anyway) and claiming they're above that sort of thing or too busy planning for the end of the world, or studying for Beauty School entrance exams....
 
I think they are all desperately trying to mimic AJ, their idol. They figure, I think, that he is the longest lasting of the bunch, so perhaps emulating his "all woo under one tent" approach might save their dismal, near death, online personalities and websites.

No calendar of events, and the link for Tickets takes you to a 9-11 Meetup site for the an all-day demonstration at Ground Zero where a grand total of 25 Troofers have committed.

I'm guessing roughly 100, and I'll take the under.

Impressive! A whopping $22.22!

It looks like two tinhatters contributed $9.11 each and a third one donated his allowance to kick in the other $4. (Okay, okay, the 'chip in' thing says there was only one contributor, but I like my "theory" better. You can never trust those establisment run chip-in-o-meters, after all...)

Oh and I almost forgot: I'll take the under, too. :)

I went to the We Are Change meet up site. Their attendance is about the same as Boston. 1 - 4 in attendance..... But there is one event coming up that has already 10 RSVPS.......

Raised $22.22 of $20,000! HAH! I had to visit the link for myself just to make sure you weren't making it up! Unbelievable! And the top of the page says "9/11/2008 - NOW OR NEVER". Does this mean that Luke will finally crawl back into his hole after only the one doner shows up?

I've been planning on attending the dedication for the Pentagon memorial this September 11th (I'm living in Virginia now, just a few hours away) but was thinking about going up to NYC instead, to ward off with the facts any moron truthers who might try to show up to brainwash the public with their lies. After seeing this, I think I'll save about $100 on gas and go to the Pentagon instead. Besides, I'm sure Mark and anyone else can easily handle Luke and his hilarious army of one or two followers!

Hopefully there aren't still any truthers who still believe the Pentagon missile BS. Does anyone know if truthers ever show up at the Pentagon demonstrating? I'll be sure to get some video of giving them the facts if any of them do show up at the Pentagon this September 11th.
