I remember this case from when it first caught International headlines. You can read more here.

I'm not sure what to say. Is he truly a traitor? Or did he save us all from something worse?

I think the guy's a hero, because the idea of secret nuclear weapons makes me nervous. The policy of "strategic ambiguity" when you've actually got the damn things strikes me as kind of strange.

I recall back when this broke that there was speculation that the fellow was actually part of a plot by the Israelis to expose the fact that they had nukes, without actually admitting it.

However, the guy seems to have had a nasty experience in prison, so this seems unlikely at this point. (unless he's a reeeeely good actor)
