A friend sent me a documentary about flight 11 recently. I don't know the actual full title though, the intro and end credits are missing. Does anyone have this documentary or remember it? It really stands out because the actor playing Atta looks so much like him it's creepy! I wonder who actually plays the part.

Anyway thats enough rambling and on to my question.
In the documentary, Atta's real voice plays over the actor's when he transmits to ATC. I believe the general opinion is that he did not mean to do this and intended to address the cabin.
I wondered if one or both transmissions were actually deliberate? Jarrah made the exact same "mistake" twice on Flight 93 also.

I know it's not exactly a conspiracy question but I'm willing to bet a truther has made claims that these transmissions somehow prove the hijacker pilots were too "stupid" to carry out the attacks

I don't think it was deliberate, I know it has been discussed many times, one thing I think that points to my belief is that he mentions "more planes" which we did catch almost immediately when the tapes were replayed. Why would the hijacker want to give away that there were more planes being that was the first hijacked aircraft. Some playing devils advocate suggested that maybe it was just his interpretation of the English Language. I beleive he was just trying to quell the passengers so they wouldn't revolt, and had no intentions of talking to ATC at all.

Yes he said "We have some planes, just stay quiet and you'll be ok. We're returning to the airport"

Is it possible the second was damage control? I can't recall right now what the second transmission said however. On the Flight 93 tapes it does seem to me that Jarrah attempts some damage control the second time, mentioning "our demands have been met"

Of course that's my own little theory and probably isn't correct.

This means excellent pilots who have done this since the rocker switch was invented were not qualified to fly? It is a rocker switch, for new pilots this happens. In some planes you click/press the top or bottom to use the radio one way, the intercom the other way.

This claim is one of the dumbest and exposes 911 truth as morons who make up delusions based on ignorance.

The transmission proves the terrorists were in the pilots seat.

When you fly and make this mistake you can usually hear yourself on the radio vs intercom. The airliner would have voice out to the radio, intercom between the pilots, and a selector to talk to the cabin. The intercom system has many options. When you make an error after you have gained experience, you usually can hear the overtone of yourself and know you made an error, and quickly make the correct transmission.

I uploaded the audio under discussion for those who have not heard it.
