Another missing student in my region. Hope it doesn't turn out badly. There are some odd things about this case though. The video shows her leaving without her purse or jacket and it's a quite chilly still. She was attacked last month by an unknown person and left unconscious. I think it's a little odd that she was leaving at 2:30 am alone when she had been attacked previously. I'd be interested in hearing if there were any witnesses to the first incident but I can't find any info.

There was this guy called Mike Negrete who went to the same elementary school and high school as I did who one day went outside his dormitory at the college he went to, never returned and was never seen again. I didn't actually know him and I only remember talking to him once.

Edited to add: I just found out that there is a page dedicated to finding him: http://findmikenow.com/

From www.kstp.com
Kamholz said an employee at a nearby office building called police after she spotted what she thought was a body in the marsh less than two miles from Seiler's off-campus apartment, leading to the discovery.

Then they show a picture of her walking with police to a squad car. I know it's early and I'm not quite so sure about accuracy, but was she just lying in the field? I hate to doubt a victim but it's starting to look even more bizarre and I'm thinking maybe she staged this whole thing.

Yeah, there's something weird going on. I'm not gonna say I think she faked it, but I think she faked it. Unless she didn't.

It seems suspicious to me also. I wonder if she had exams this week?

The latest word is that the cops are still looking for an armed kidnapping suspect, and at least one report said that a suspect had been spotted. All of which goes to show... nothing, yet.

I would put forth my own theory, but I don't want to be the subject of ridicule like last time.

Suffice to say, this is obviously a strong girl with a good head on her shoulders. She escaped against the odds, and she did it by sheer will and brainpower. Good job, toots.

Personally, I'll give the young college gal the benefit of the doubt.

Not too long ago, there was a story of a young woman who sued her college after a similar unusual event. The woman was beaten and raped, she spent her time in the hospital. The woman failed a polygraph, and the college refused to allow the student to make up her exam. After a little heavy investigating the rapist was caught and the college made a formal apology. (That story is second-hand, I cant be sure of the details.)

the woman was found alive...police were on a guns drawn search of were she was found.

But conspiracy theories are so much more fun! Especially since she's safe now Brown, er Yahweh.

I'm so confused! Brown is Moe Faux, Yahweh is Brown, G6 is Mercutio... and it's not even April 1 in this part of the world yet!

Speaking of polygraphs, my Latin teacher in high school said that he once was a suspect for a crime involving a car being set on fire. He was the boyfriend of the girl whose mother owned the car.

It was suspected by the investigators that he did it in retaliation to some type of trouble in the relationship. He said he was forced to wait around a while in the police station for something like three hours and he had to use the restroom during that time and when he took the polygraph test, he failed it.

Eventually the person who actually did set the car on fire confessed to it. She was the next door neighbor of the woman whose car she set on fire and there had long been bitter hatred between these women. So she set the car on fire out of hatred of her.

Denise---Are you right in or near Madison? I am about 160 miles to the northwest in the Eau Claire area.

Yeah, something's rotten in Denmark on this one.

It is entirely possible that she may have suffered some type of brain trauma during the initial attack that left her unconcious. If this is the case then unusual behavior as was descibed would easily be explained.

Just a thought.

Yeah, that's the part I am most interested in. Was she taken to a hospital for treatment? When you are knocked unconscious, it's not like on TV, where you wake up, shake your head and move on.

Was she reasonably clean when she was found? Had she changed her clothes inbetween? Since she only spent less than 6 hours at the hospital, which seems to indicate she was not harmed in any way. So, why didn't she just walk out of the marshes, when she was spotted?

Sniff test.

Here's another strange thing. I have been unable to find out if she reported the Feb. 1st attack to police or went to the hospital. They just don't say. Apparently in that incident she was moved for a block and left there without being robbed or raped.

I hate to say that she faked it but it's looking pretty strange. Here's the description of the man who abducted her from www.wcco.com
They are looking for a white man, 6'0" tall with dark hair. He was wearing a black shirt, black hat and blue jeans. They believe he is armed with a knife and a gun.

Pretty vague to say the least. I wish I could find a picture of the marsh. It's not all that big.

That's another thing. She spends 4 days with someone, and all she can come up with is that?

Where was she kept during the 4 days?
