Minister steps down from Masons to avoid criticism

A senior minister has resigned from the Freemasons because he felt that membership of the organisation would leave him open to criticism. Michael Mike Russell, who has responsibility for the environment, has quit the Bute lodge after being admitted four years ago. A spokesperson for first minister Alex Salmond said he had "no idea" if other ministers were Freemasons. Membership of the society surfaced as an issue in the first term of the parliament when calls were made for MSPs to declare their membership.
Tory MSPs David McLetchie and Jamie McGrigor, as well as former Conservative members Brian Monteith and Phil Gallie, all admitted membership at various stages of their life.

Wait a minute, I thought you said in your other post (where this one should be as well) that membership was secret and members always denied it?

This just proves that they're lying about quiting the Masons since it's a secret organization and they always deny they're members. By claiming that they are quitting, they must be members since they didn't deny being members which they would do if they were members. Therefore, they're only claiming to quit so they don't have to deny being members because they are.

And so you see, BF, you will never be taken seriously until you stop this drive-by posting and actually stick it out and debate your ideas.

Maybe not even then.

If you plan to start another Mason thread and not participate can you save us all the hassle and go ahead and start it in the Humor sub-forum?

And the reason we should take any real interest in this would be..........*

" and do watch that copyright thing!!

Yeah, you'd think Shriners would do something a little less conspicuous than, you know, wear fezzes and drive tiny cars in parades.

Plus, they did that album with The Dead Kennedys. I give them several points for coolness but like, minus a million for conspicuousness.

Hellova lot of Masons defending a good charitable fraternity of criminals here.

Do you have any genuine reasonable advice for the victims of Freemasonry?

We have the concrete evidence but the Masonic controlled media and judiciary will do their best to stop our stories getting out. There will be no justice in a Masonic controlled system.

You have to understand Masonic Theatre, from the World Wars, 911, Masonic controlled drugs and crimes, etc. All the way down the line.

Who's a Mason? I'm not, I just know many people who are.

You have yet to prove that there are any, so I have none at this time.

Bolding mine. What's stopping you from presenting your "concrete evidence" here? Other than having to put it in your own words, and being able to defend it.

You have to understand Masonic Theatre, from the World Wars, 911, Masonic controlled drugs and crimes, etc. All the way down the line.
What is so bad about making it easier to call for police, ambulance or firefighters?

I, too, am interested in this concrete evidence. Please elaborate.
