In the science fiction tales, Ming the Merciless was the invariable loser, always soundly routed by Flash Gordon and forced to flee back to planet Mongo.But not before uttering the immortal words “I will be back.”




The man with the long pointy beard, longer sideburns and shaved head has fought half-a-dozen elections and lost them all.

And each time, indomitably, he has come back.

Some reports would have us believe that a cannabis legalization campaigner is using the Ming persona to further his political career, but that's obviously what Ming wants us to believe!

Things mightn't be as desperate as first appears. The leader of the opposition party bears a very strong resemblance to Flash Gordon!
