To say that this pisses me off beyond words is an understatement. What the hell is the matter with people dying because an imaginary fairy in the sky says they can't be seen naked by a male doctor. Jesus ******* Christ people, grow up. Modern science allows many if not most of these women to be CURED.

I'd have used a different exclamatory, given the topic.

Appealing to Jesus (whatever) Christ (isn't the convention here that the H stands for Harold?) seems a mixed metaphor when discussing the curious attitudes among Muslims regarding health, and who may examine breasts.

I would humbly offer my services, but as the King and his Sharia Court have that "kill him" rule about some furriner handling all of those Arabian breasts, I'll have to remain a breast examiner in waiting.

You also miss a subtle point: the cure for life is death, so in a certain way, they are being cured.

Our local paper ran an article on this situation as well. In addition to the religious aspect, there are social pressures. Women feel that they will have difficulty finding matches for their daughters if it's learned that they have cancer.
