It's definitely time for us to get together again, and I'm going to suggest that we meet either at Baltimore's Inner Harbor or in a very nice place I've discovered in Ellicott City, The Ellicott Mills Brewing Company. Those of you so inclined can continue your quest for the perfect beer and it has a nice upstairs room where it's pretty quiet and good for conversation.

The Inner Harbor has Phillips and The Cheesecake Factory among other places.

September 21, 27, and 28 are my days off, or I could come after work, but no farther than Columbia for the drive if I'm going to get there in any sort of good time.

NobbyNobbs has expressed interested in joining us!
 
I'm voting for the afternoon of 9/28, as the other days are inundated.
 
9/28 is good for me. Either place sounds fine, although Ellicott City would probably be easier for an out-of-towner to navigate.
 
Hmm. We're out of town the weekend of the 26-29th, so we'd vote for the 21st (this Sunday) and Ellicot City (HATE paying the piratical parking fees in the Harbor area) ...
 
Next three weekends are looking pretty bad for me - sorry.

Looks like the weekend of the 28th is good for most of y'all, but if anyone wants to gett gether in Fredneck this Sunday, HW and I are planning a visit to the Schifferstadt Oktoberfest. It's just a few blocks form our place.

Feel free to come join us for beer and bratwurst.
 
I can't make to to Oktoberfest, but let's plan on the 28th for at least some of us. Shall we try the Ellicott City place, stick to Columbia and the Tomato Palace, or try some place else?
 
Let's do the Tomato Palace and save Ellicott City for a larger group, shall we?

Tomato Palace at 5pm Sunday for five people?
 
I'm dubious at best, but probably out.... exhaustion and a cold.
 
CRAPCRAPCRAP!!!!!!!!!!! I'm at work and it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to get out soon enough to make it to the Tomato Palace before everyone else finishes their dinner and leaves!
 
I didn't check this thread before I left, and so had a lonely meal at the Tomato Palace. Illegal and his consort didn 't make it either.

Ah, well.
 
Well, then, we owe you a dinner! I am just now leaving work - at around 5 pm I was wishing I was at the Tomato Palace!
 
Ok, that toe tapping is definitely appropriate. I am sorry, oh queen of all things literary, to have left you cooling your heels at the Tomato Palace. I do believe, however, that the addition of a lung recently hacked up by yours truly, would not have been an appreciated addition to the decor.

LL picks time and place, and Crackers and I owe her dinner.
 
I'm from this general area as well.
Actually central PA but Baltimore is not a terribly long drive for me.
Depending on my schedule (and available funds) I could possibly join you guys...and gals.
Do I need to be voted in or something?
