I sat twice 35min today, at 10:30am and 11.15am.
Being alone is hard but worthwhile.

What kind of practice have you done?

I did 2x108 prostrations at 1pm.

Practice is not off-topic but the core of each religion.

Another 2x108 at 1:45.
108 at 2:15.

Remaining with pain is not easy. I am pain.

In India I spent 5 weeks meditating for three hours before breakfast, 2 hours in the afternoon and 3 hours in the evening.

Another time I spent a week meditating 5 hours each day in the Buddhist cave at Elora.

No prostrations only sublimations.

You did not do over 200 prostrations in under 45 minutes.

You are simply trolling again.

Being alone for an hour and ten minutes is hard? You might a separation anxiety disorder or something, but I'm not a doctor.

I've mostly been practicing my magic skills*. Unfortunately I tend to rely on my melee weapon (fire and wrath) when in the thick of battle, so i leveled that much faster than my magic to the point where my spells are mostly useless against any foe that's near my level. Next time I'll try to build a more balanced character.

*in Ryzom, an MMORPG.

What, you just prostrate in the middle of the afternoon, bold as brass? It takes me three drinks into a Saturday night before I even start to consider that sort of thing.

Not that I disagree with you Kid but exactly what is the topic?

I may agree that you are more enlightened than I, so I need help. :o
The forum topic is religion.

I guess that one could propose that by making up a bunch of pseudo-religious babble, the OP is actually making a skeptical satire of all religious followers...

But I doubt that is the case here.

I suggest that the OP tweet about these things and see if he gets any 'followers'.

(yes, Dorothy, people are that stupid)

It was just a lucky guess. What was? I have no idea. The topic? Who knows.

Three lines of incoherence does not a journal make. :D

I used to be able to meditate like you, then I took an arrow to the knee.

Don't feed the trolls is a virtue, but don't hand the man in the clown suit a gun either.

Wow in retrospect that's really zen of me.

This topic reveals what you actually do about your practice. To write is easy, to practise is true. The more you practise the more religious you become. Are you your body? Are you your mind? Are you this moment of life?
I do half-prostrations which take 10 minutes so what I wrote down WAS possible. If you share what you do/promise, it is more probable to be fullfilled(that's why some of us take precepts in public).
No more formal practice today. And you?
