medical (human/animal)help needed

I just bought a stetheoscope. it is so cool. but can someone recomend a practical book on how to use it on myself or on my cat.

we don't have any health problems per se...I just want to explore medical science for personal interest. I'm a doctor but I don't know anything about medicine..

There should be a few on-line audio clips to help you realise what breath sounds and heart sounds are like. Don't expect anything mind-blowing- it talkes some medics years to get the hang of telling the difference between valve murmurs and such like.

Persuade a girlfriend to play doctor with you - much more fun than the cat!
