Choking back tears,Martha pleaded for leaniency,and got it.Her sentence,five months in jail,two years of supervised release,home confinement,and a fine of $30,000.Seems like another slap on the wrist for the wealthy.The message,make plenty of money before you commit your crime!Hey,this is America after all.
 
Will the judge be reported to Ashcroft for imposing a sentence below the federal guidelines, one wonders?
 
No way,Martha is a good Republican,not a lousy Dem......Demo.....Democr........aw,I can't even say it!
 
she'll serve 2 months.

She'll have her own cell.

She'll be kept out of general population whenever possible (if not always).
 
I agree. The media is all wrapped up with the stuffy homemaker while nobody's paying attention to Ken Lay and the real criminals of the corporate world.
 
Since Martha got off with the lowest possible sentence,doesn't she risk a higher sentence by her appeal?Maybe she gets more time with a harsher judge?
