Well done as usual Mark. I actually missed this thread apparently. Thanks for bumping it Tweeter. I agree with you, Mark does deserve some praise. You are 100% right.

There was already an audio of this posted about a month ago, and a 16 page long discussion about it. I assume it is the same thing.

Yes, the podcast was released in September and this is the video of the same conversation with Mark. I posted it so people would be aware of the video.

The very first thing that Roberts says is a contradiction. 9/11 research is what "I do for a living. I'm an amateur historian."

Do I really need to watch the remaining 35 minutes of horribly produced, poorly recorded video?

Congrats! You just summed up the truth movement. Complete lack of logic.

What he does for a living is research facts and is an amateur historian. His job requires looking up information and finding experts, hence making him great for doing research on 9/11.

But thank you because you just summed up an entire movements logic in one small phrase of incompetence an a complete inability to listen or read correctly.

Isn't 9/11 an historical event?

You, uhh... you know that we can see the video, too, right? Because that's not at all what was implied.

Shame on you.

Well clearly you did not understand what was not simply implied, but outright stated. Go back and listen to what the interviewer is saying and Mark is simply agreeing with it. They hadn't even mentioned 9/11 yet. You simply inserted that on your own.

It's a perfect example of how something can be said clearly and unmistaken, yet you manage to completely misunderstand it and completely change what was said. Which is pretty much the entire premise of the 9/11 cult movement.

Spare me the schoolmarm finger waggling and explain to me what was implied then.

No need to explain, as it's quite clear. However, since I can't rule out the possibility that your sense of hearing has degraded significantly from that of a healthy adult, I'll offer a quick transcript out of courtesy:

Dr. Henn: You don't have an area of expertise in any of these things, but you... know how to research. You know how to... find the experts.

Roberts: That's what I do for a living. I'm an amateur historian.

Nowhere in this short exchange is it even implied that "9/11 research" is what Mark does "for a living".

Shame on you.

Wow, a twoofer twisting a statement around to fit what he wants. Who would have ever guessed?

How does Roberts earn his money? If being an amateur historian does not pay the bills, what does?
On my tax forms it says "Lecturer."

What was he doing before 9/11?
Mostly origami and drinking the blood of Christian babies.

What I can tell from the exchange, doing online research and finding researchers.

I've also learned in this thread that 9/11 is not a historical event.
