Lost in the web.

I am after some pages that I found a while ago but can no longer locate. I found them through a google search. On doing the same search now I found that the pages have gone.

I recall that the pages had also been removed before but the google cache allowed me to access them, .

Is there any way I can find these pages stored somewhere?

I recall that someone posted a link to a site that found old versions of pages and demonstrated it with a link to the JREF home page of year earlier.

Any help would be appreciated.
