Losing somebody to quantum healing

A friend of a good friend of mine has cervical cancer, it's pretty bad, doctors have given her about a year or so to live.

Her blog.

Obviously it's been pretty hectic for her, and I understand her desperation. However, things have taken a turn for the worst. She has now hooked into quantum healing.

On the 11th March, she had her body "scanned telepathically" by somebody in Germany, and was told she does not have cancer. As a result, she has stopped chemo.

She does not want to use her gynae any more because she only gets bad news from him...

I'm trying to find information on who is giving the "treatment" from my friend, because frankly, I want to dig up as much dirt as I can to discredit the treater. I cannot see any other way of getting her off this path. There is no point in saying that quantum healing does not work: that has been tried, and the old "science cannot prove everything" keeps on coming up.

I'm open to suggestion on other routes to take here...

If you can identify who he is, you should contact the German authorities have have charged with practicing medicine without a license, because if he diagnosed her as not having cancer (regardless of what woo-woo methods he claimed to use), that is exactly what he is doing.

Shame.
Your friend seemed to have arrived at a place where she was accepting of treatment at the end of February
Today I had the appointment with my oncologist to discuss treatment. She is lovely – we will call her Dr Kind. She explained everything to me – what chemo treatment they can offer me and why. We spoke in great length about the side effects and any questions I had she answered. She even offered the services of a social worker should I feel that my daughter may need counseling. In short, she was amazing. She put me at ease and I feel much more confident and in control about the chemo now. It’s no longer the big bad wolf at the door. I am not going to lie and say this is going to be an easy road but at least now I am informed. The monster has been demystified and it’s not really a monster, it’s just another tool that can help me on my road to perfect health.

And was due to start her chemo this week.

However, there has always been a lot of woo hanging around - theta healing was the last one, and I suspect she is just desperately searching for anything that could help. All the more important when she has an 11 yr old daughter dependent on her.
Now you say she has taken up with this German quack.
Why the sudden U turn I wonder?
Any chance that "Dr Kind" could help out here?

This.
All the best to this lady struggling for life.

Trying my best to identify. Have suggested that any future conversations (if any) be recorded. Reasons I gave: so that she can go over them again in case she missed something, and also, if it does not work, to get her money back (although I foresee small chance of that).

I just want proof of the scam, so had to sell it to her somehow.

Shame.

Well, my friend has convinced her to undertake another scan. Yay! I suggested that maybe before she runs off and does another telekinetic session, she verify if it works first.

I have no idea on the U-turn, suspect friend of friend and Google.

One of her responses: don't be skeptical, believe in magic.

Skype conversation:

[Friend] Good idea, just chatting to her now ... she's on a serious high right now:

<<< my body feels weird - lots of stuff coming out

<<< some friends of mine believe this entirely that once u change your vibration about the cancer it can't survive

Hm, the first thing she should do is verify if she has no cancer like the dude said. Surefire way to prove things out....

Believe...meh.

How's she gonna change her vibration? Ride a washing machine??????

[Friend] Some people are so gullible

[Friend] Oh I can just picture that. Apparently he changes it for you ... telepathically

[Friend] tele - pathetically if you ask me

I wonder how many of those friends of hers who "believe entirely" also have cancer :(

I am so very sorry to hear about your friend.

IME some people decide to stop chemotherapy simply because the side effects can make the quality of life so poor that they prefer a shorter but higher quality life to a longer life of poor quality.

It seems to me that this is a separate issue to the issue of the quack who is preying on your friend, however it may be helpful for her to discuss the side effects with you or her other friends as the quality of life issue is an important one and it may have made her more vulnerable to the quack if her experience of the side effects is a negative one.

It may also help your friend to warn her about the MO of criminals who prey on terminally ill people.

IME there are 2 main things to be extremely concerned about, one is exploitation while the victim is alive, the other is exploitation post mortem via grabbing the assets of the deceased person - obviously the roots of this happen when the person is still alive usually via soliciting "donations" and inheritances.

Your friend should be warned about such things especially as she has a dependent child to take care of and provide for.

Obviously this is a delicate thing, made more difficult because your friend, quite naturally, will want to hear good news and may not wish to be invited to consider fact that her life expectation is limited, at least not in any depth.

This is the kind of thing that really concerns me, it is some text taken from the website of a large transnational criminal network with a MO that includes a diverse range of serious criminal activity including quackery and fraud against terminally ill people and their families.

3. Seeing that when we die our descendants [if spiritually unenlightened] are unable to render us the least assistance, it is useless for us to bequeath to them wordly [ rather than sppiritual] riches, even out of love(2).
4. Seeing that when we die we must go on our way alone and without kinsfolk or friends, it is useless to have devoted time [which ought to have been dedicated to the winning of Enlightenment] to their humouring and obliging, or in showering loving affection upon them(1).
5. Seeing that our descendants themselves are subject to death and that whatever wordly goods we may bequeath to them are certain to be lost eventually, it is useless to make bequests of the things of this world.

They are not the only ones doing this. There are countless individual criminal entrepreneurs as well as smaller OC groups and huge transnational OC networks that are busy with exploiting the terminally ill and stealing all of their possessions. It is a highly profitable business.

If you can find any more identifying info I will do my best to help.

You may also find the German website / forum Esowatch helpful.

Good luck

Thanks Ellen, I appreciate your input.

As soon as I get hold of more information, I'll let you know.

I wish for her all the strength possible. I cannot imagine what she is going through, nor the desperation she is feeling. In her state of mind she is grasping at any kind of hope, and any kind of good news is a welcomed relief.

I offer no suggestions. My heart goes out to her and those of you close to her.

Message from patient:

Had rife scan and saw an overall improvement in organs etc of 51% where thecancer is 41 improved also digestive 30%
The usual improve for this amt of time is 7%
The therapist is in shock

My first thought is cherry-picking or conflating results. This is not from therapist directly.

Notice how the fact that there was no cancer found at all by the German dude has been ignored.

Friend has convinced her to go to oncologist today, with friend alongside. Will report results later.

No info as yet on the quantum healer.

Blog update:

I know I have been a bit quiet of late and no it’s not due to falling off the planet or suicidal tendencies. Mostly I have been quite fine. I experienced quite bad pain the other day and am now supplementing my pain patches with pain tablets as per the doctor’s advice. On the upside, it looks like my bladder side effect is calming down and not as bad as it was.

On Sunday night, I had a family constellation therapy session with my friend in Germany over Skype. At one point in the conversation, he said he can’t detect the cancer anymore, that it’s gone. I was somewhat taken aback and confused but he was adamant saying he is hardly ever wrong. We agreed that I would go and do some tests and see what the doctors have to say about my condition based on that.

I then scheduled a sonar scan, a rife scan and a pap smear with three separate doctors for early in this week. Yesterday was the pap smear appointment. I realized while driving there that this was not going to show up any different due to the dead tissue inside me it would still show abnormal cells. I ended up chatting to my GP for 45 minutes as she was very interested to hear what I have been doing to try and treat the cancer. She has some books and CD’s she will be loaning me so that was good. At 6pm I went off to have the Rife scan. Previously I had done this on 18 February, so this is almost 1 month later. She started scanning me and looking slightly disbelieving. She then showed me the results. Overall system and organ function has improved by 51%. In the diseased area there is a 41% improvement rate. In my digestive and colon a 30% improvement since last scan. She looked at me and said that the usual rate of improvement in a month is average about 6 or 7%. This never happens. I told her what I had been doing and she was amazed.
She then gave me the Rife machine which she has programmed specifically for me. I will do 1 treatment a day on it and it will do various things such as support my immune system, take care of infection, manage pain as well as treat the cancer. As she said, things can only improve more now that I have the Rife machine at my disposal. She has given me a schedule to work with for a period of 1 month.

Tomorrow I have a sonar scan scheduled and then a follow-up with the oncologist to discuss the results on Tuesday. I want her to compare the last scan done on 5th Feb to this one and see if there is any marked change.

I am in a weird mood. I feel like running up and down and jumping in some moments and then others my skeptic comes in and says no this can’t be happening. I truly DO believe I am on the right track to recovery and that all I have been doing thus far is right and is working! I just need to shut up my inner cynic and not listen to her!

Rife scans? More pseudoscience.

I have no idea what a rife scan is so am not in any position to comment on it.

The mention of Family Constellations is alarming to me.

To my knowledge FC is a kind of psychotherapy in which the patient is invited to make maps of family relationships, including ancestral relationships, in order to become conscious of unconscious "scripts" and patterns that can adversely affect their life. Sometimes, if worked on in groups, other people will be invited to take on the role of the ancestors / family members - a bit like some kinds of drama therapy.

Some apparently well meaning and legitimate qualified counsellors and therapists use FC as part of their toolbox of interventions and, while I have not tried it myself, I can imagine that it might be helpful in some situations.

My concerns about FC are that it is one of the favoured therapies of choice of cults involved in serious criminality.

I believe that this is because, if misused, it can be a very effective method for isolating vulnerable people from their friends and families via convincing the patient that they need to be liberated from toxic external influences.

It is very common to find self proclaimed "shamans" and "tantric healers" running workshops on FC as google will confirm.

If you run a search for FC on the meetup social networking website you will see the connection between dodgy "tantric" groups, NLP, hypnosis, energy healing, Reiki, Theta Healing, "shamanism" and so on and so forth.

If your friend has money or substantial assets I would be extremely concerned about the possibility that some very nasty criminals are attempting to con her and her family out of her assets.

I also think it quite likely that her "friend" is not based in Germany at all. There are criminal cults all over Germany but IME their agents are seldom truthful about all kinds of things and it may be that the "friend" is based in Latvia, Russia, the Ukraine or pretty much anywhere.

I wish I could do more to help, please do keep us all up to date on developments and love to your and your friend and her family.

Thanks, Ellen Travis for such interesting input.

Rife scans? More pseudoscience.

And a take-out Rife machine that will 'manage' the person's pain and moniter their progress?
I call scam and fraud.

ETA
I'm not the only one to do so
http://www.rife.de/scoon_f-scan_analysis.html

And there's a centre dedicated to this here
http://www.rife4life.co.nz/scan.htm

Lastly, from http://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/index.php/the-hidden-cancer-cure/
"He believes that Royal Rife cured cancer 70 years ago. Rife was essentially a copycat of Albert Abrams who promoted his radio frequency devices. The concept is to use radio waves to alter the vibrations of cells in the body. This is pure nonsense. Here is a quick summary from Stephen Barret:

One of Abrams’s many imitators was Royal Raymond Rife (1888-1971), an American who claimed that cancer was caused by bacteria. During the 1920s, he claimed to have developed a powerful microscope that could detect living microbes by the color of auras emitted by their vibratory rates. His Rife Frequency Generator allegedly generates radio waves with precisely the same frequency, causing the offending bacteria to shatter in the same manner as a crystal glass breaks in response to the voice of an opera singer. The American Cancer Society has pointed out that although sound waves can produce vibrations that break glass, radio waves at the power level emitted a Rife generator do not have sufficient energy to destroy bacteria."

Totally agree. I've heard of Rife machines - I came across them some years ago through some other channel. As an RF/electronics engineer, I'm fully aware of the in and outs of radio frequencies, etc. etc.

Some technobabble:

A Rife Machine is a device that generates frequency signals. These frequency signals are pre-determined by scientists who work and test the effects of the frequencies on organisms, body cells, tissue, glands, organs and systems of humans, animals and plants. All matter contains a natural frequency that is based on various aspects including the size, density and structure of the matter. Resonance is accomplished when external frequency energy is applied to that matter. The matter will vibrate to the maximum energy level that environmental aspects will allow. Low frequencies will stimulate large bodies like an arm or an organ, for example the liver. Higher frequencies will stimulate a finger or a gland, for example the adrenals. High frequencies will stimulate body cells, freeing toxins, stimulating healing and promoting overall health. Very high frequencies will resonate organisms, for example fungi, bacteria and viruses. These organisms have a very weak membrane that is easily torn by the effects of the resonance, resulting in the destruction of the microbe. In the case of viruses, it’s protein structure is damaged or shuttered, resulting in a ineffective virus.

I noticed the CE marking on the device...

RifeMedic Quality Control and Registrations:

The RifeMedic has undergone comprehensive tests by all the required South African authorities and regulation companies and certificates of compliance have been issued that declares that the RifeMedic is designed and manufactured to regulations and standards that qualify it as a Class BF device.

No Rife machine can obtain the status of a medical device as the FDA will under no condition allow this to be. Any claims by any manufacturer of medical device status may have accomplished this by fraudulent and misrepresenting actions to trick and cheat the authorities.

The RifeMedic is therefore not licensed with the SA department of health as a medical device.

The CE mark is for manufacturing standards compliance only - however, he is spinning this as if it relates to the medical function of the product, IMO.

Perhaps this lady can be led to the truth via an analysis of that machine?

Good find, evilbiker!

Regarding analysis of the machine, well, it's not going to help in this case - some time ago I analysed the Fostac cellphone radiation reducer, and even with controvertible proof that the thing did literally nothing, I could not change minds.

Remember that to most people a "high frequency" is right up there next to "microwave" and "black magic".

The path we are taking is to get scans from proper medical personnel, and hope that she realises the cost of doing the wrong thing.

Apologies for pointing out the obvious but if your friend has actually been subjected to some kind of rife machine IRL as opposed to by a virtual one, then whoever it is in "Germany" or wherever is working cooperatively with scammers in SA. It may be that the whole set up is based in SA and is only pretending to have people in Germany.

Maybe worth researching who actually owns one of these machines within travelling distance of your friend?

Another thing that comes to mind is that it may only push her closer to the scammers if you try to persuade her with logic and reason. I wonder whether it might be worth while trying to consolidate any existing relationships by simply being there for her and encouraging her to share her feelings of rage, disappointment, fear and loss about a) her diagnosis and b) her feelings of being let down by conventional medicine.

I would seriously suggest this as a first step while we do our best to find more information and think about strategies.

She says " I just need to shut up my inner cynic and not listen to her!"
This is cause for concern and may be the result of the FC.
The scammers use it to identify unhelpful inner voices and family members. Any criticism of FC or quantum woo or whatever is likely to place you firmly in the category of "unhelpful influences" along with her inner critic.
IIWY I would avoid the temptation to be critical of all the woo and try your best to really be there for her as a friend and encourage her to talk about the trauma of her illness and treatment.

In the meantime we will do what we can here to find out who is behind all of this.

We need to think in a sneaky and lateral way (just like the scammers do) if we are going to help her. IMO
