Those poor boys who made the film were overtaken and/or awestruck by the bureaucratic "9/11 truth movement".
They made a great 2nd edition, it was original, strong, and "in-your-face".
This newest version is boring, trimmed down, and uninspiring. It is virtually a summary of newspaper clippings.
Dylan Avery told me last year that they didn't have time to add as much as they had wanted. But I think waiting a few more months would have been better if time was an issue.
For example, in the final cut, they took out the one part that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up (originally in the second edition). That is, the close up of the demolition "squibs" 30 floors below the demolition wave as the WTC 1 and 2 buildings came down. They also took out the video part of the squibs on the upper floors of WTC 7, just before it came down, and it wasn't even hit with an airplane. These squibs are visual and scientific proof that the buildings were wired with explosives beforehand.
There are other examples. The release of the final cut was met with little or no fanfare.
I say to people that they should def. watch the 2nd edition. It is better. But because the 2nd edition is so different from the final cut, perhaps both of them put together is a good overall summary of the biggest lie ever told, and believed.
