Loose Change bans me from reading

I was banned a long time ago from posting at the LC forum. I am fine with that.

But I am also now banned from even simply reading the forum.

what is up with that? is this a new form of political censorship from the defenders of Freedom and Liberty?

yowzers!! I don't even think Stalin went so far.

oh, I have my many ways around their silly firewall.

I just find it highly amusing and highly ironic that they would take such a authoritarian step, as to prevent people from even reading their words.

its pretty much a 21st century version of book burning, though they are burning their own books!!

not the debate topics. only about 25% of the forum.

i am unable to read any part of the LC forum. not even the funny parts.

though, I must admit, I do understand why I am banned from even reading their forum.

their members, say many many stupid, hateful, and sometimes violent things. people like me get wind of this and post it here on JREF, or even call the Secret Service.

the Mods at LC are aware of this, and knowing that since they cannot trust their members to stay mature and decent, and since they are too lazy to search out and destroy all defaming and dangerous posts, they decided to prevent me from reading them instead.

but for the most part, the only way they can EVER truly prevent me from reading their posts, is to ban all proxy servers, which they will never do.

They don't get the irony. On the first Loose Change forum I got immediately banned from a thread that they started to talk about our blog. Kevin Barrett made a couple of posts on his blog talking about me, but after I made a few comments, he will no longer allow me to post any more. But if the press criticizes them in any fashion, they will start screaming censorship.
 
Is it possible those forums know that certain posters read those forums for the purposes of stundie nominations? I haven't taken the time to see if Parky is someone who posts a large amount of them, and would merit attention from them to keep him from being able to see what they say. Just speculating.
 
I was banned from posting or reading at LCF a long time ago.

Then my ISP was bought by a much larger comapny and a whole whack of other IP addresses came with that change. Since they use dynamic addressing all I had to do was turn my modem and computer off for a day and then fire it back up. By this time my old address had been re-assigned somehwere else in Canada and I was assigned a new one automatically.

I have not tried to re-register (that would be wrong..) but I can read the public (semi-public??:D) forums.

Cappy Bobby has cycled back and forth between allowing only members to view any forum and allowing limited viewing by non-members. He does like to ban reading by those he bans from posting as well.

Hm. My ISP must be ideal for such Stalinist forums, then. I get a new IP if I log off and log on 5 seconds later :)

IIRC, It all depends on how many others are logging on during that 5 second interval and how the ISP has set things up to assign adresses.

Years ago I was banned from a much more non-political forum. When I enquired as to why I was told that they ban an IP block surrounding the adress of the person they wanted to ban:eek: Someone else in my town had been bad so I got caught in the net(no pun intended).

And again, the truthers demonstrate that they care nothing about peoples personal or civil rights!

Reading is fundamental. How dare they take that away from him!
