One changes each numeral in the written word for that number and then counts the letters in that word e.g. 5-->five-->4 (4 letters).

The magic of this arrangement in Fig. 1 is that if you add the rows, or columns, or diagonals, they all add up to the same number; in this case, 15. This example uses the numbers 1-9 and each number is only used once. This has a echo of the Fibonacci sequence to it. Strange, huh.

The guy believes that if one takes a recording of Obama saying "yes, we can" and plays it backwards it says "thank you Satan."1 But a three by three magic square makes him use the word "strange." We've clearly stepped through the looking glass. Also, there is no connection between the cited magic square and the Fibonacci sequence (echoing or not).

Yeah, like what does backmasking have to do with numbers anyway? I wonder what, "Yes, we can." really sounds like when you play it backwards (of course, since someone has associated that with the phrase, "Thank you Satan" well...).
