Live Webcam from Gaza City!

I don't see a need for it. I have a feeling that if I turn it on, I'll see two of the Religions of Peace battling it out as usual and I already know that they're fighting each other. No need to witness even more humans losing their lives to drive home that point.

This is Hamas propaganda. Where are the videos of Israeli soldiers playing football with Palestinian kids?

:D

In fairness, Judaism has never claimed to be a religion of peace...

Why am I reminded of Tom Lehrer? Oh yeah:

So long, Mom,
I'm off to drop the bomb,
So don't wait up for me.
But while you swelter
Down there in your shelter,
You can see me
On your TV.

While there is the occasional fighting seen onscreen, there's not as much as you would think.

The webcam is more just point and catch what happens. Yesterday, there was an auto accident caught on the video. Oh, and someone in Gaza City owns a rooster that never seems to shut up during the daytime.

I'm watching it now and Someone is taking a real pounding and has been for at least an hour. Yes the Rooster is still in full voice.

Someone needs to shut that damn rooster up... I blame Hamas.

This appears to be a real serious operation. I wonder if a truce agreement is near and Israel getting its licks in before it is announced?

1) We are getting close to inauguration day
2)beyond that isreali elections are not far off

So the isreali goverment will likely be looking to end it in the next few days in any case.

It doesn't appear to be air strikes. My guess is artillery and tank rounds.

I think I'm going to invite some friends over for a drinking game, everytime we hear the rooster someone takes a drink.

YOu will be passed out in 5 minutes. On a serious note, I would hate like hell to be on the receiving end of this.

Geni you may be right but that is a bit too cynical for me. If Israel felt strongly enough to take this action only to stop before its goals are met because a new US president is coming in then they should not have started. I don't think the Inauguration is the driving force, at least I hope not.

We just lost video but we still got audio...about 15 minutes after an explosion and someone changing the angle of the camera.

I bet if you look close enough, you might just see "Sunni Man" running away from an airstrike.
