"Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true," he tells PEOPLE exclusively. "I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize."

I hope he's learned his lesson.

But there's enough people willing to pay for dirt on the Palins who only care that it's plausible to make it very hard for him.
 
Palin doesn't need Levi to make her look like a fool, a moron, a quiter, and a hypocrite.
 
His "lies" were mostly tabloid fare carried just by tabloids. If anyone was duped by them, they deserved to be duped for reading that garbage (to paraphrase Seinfeld).
 
Just for kicks - Levi was accompanied by and accompanying Kathie Griffin who is represented by Ari Emanuel who of course is the brother of Rahm Emanuel

But I wonder if this is a somewhat panicked response to the recent blip upwards in web interest in the Trig question. With all these family members able to speak to the public and McGinniss digging deeper, Todd and Sarah may have felt the need to crack down and use Levi's access to Tripp and Bristol as their latest weapon.

So was he lying then or is he lying now? It's funny, because some of the things he said, like Sarah only being interested in the money, have proved to be pretty much spot-on.

Theory that Bristol is Trig's mother rather than Sarah. Most likely original came about due to some confusion of dates with regards to photos showing Bristol pregnant with Tripp. Aditional fodder was lack of photos showing Sarah clearly pregnant with Trig and Sarah's dash back to alaska just before giving birth to Trig.

What did he say about the money? Which money? What details did he offer? How were his claims corroborated? Etc.

Beats me. It's also possible that she made up the heroic story of flying across the continent while in labor. Or maybe it's something I didn't think of.

Do you believe the story? What do you think of a person who would do that?
