There are laws against cruelty to animals, but a recent Washington (state) case demonstrates that we need more laws.

Something tells me that writing more laws prohibiting cruelty to animals will be just as effective as writing more laws regulating firearms.

Waitaminnut. There was a special farm specifically operated for the purpose of commercial bestiality?

I'm not sure that a bestiality law is necessary as a general ewwww law. Basically, if the DA reads what happened and all 12 jury members go "ewwww" audibly, the guy's convicted.

The specifics of the incident cannot be found in this particular news story, but the man was not doinking the horse—the horse was doinking him. The man died of a perforated colon.

What a fascinating parallel.

Gun-nuts and affectionados of interspecies sex do indeed have much in common: and now their liberties are being threatened by Big Government. Perhaps they should band together in a common cause: "The National Rifle and Horse-F*ckers Association" has a nice ring to it, don't you think? And it would bring together in pefect synergy a bunch of horses' @sses and the people who love them.

Doesn't the government have better things to do? The "real killer" of Nicole Simpson is still out there, somewhere, I do believe...
 
Animals

Well, its probably ok, if you have the animals consent or the animal is at least 2 years old, or 6 months for chickens. But really we do not need to have a law about everything.

I doubt that this is very widespread. Ridicullous.

As far as I see it, if they combined ranks, I don't think there would be any new enrollment in either group.

For the unflinchingly curious, a video of this "incident" is floating around on the Net. I was just reading a comedian's blog, where he describes it as "EASILY the most disturbing thing I’ve ever seen in my [rule8]ing life" and provides a link.

I was tempted to watch it, but the description was horrifying enough.
 
Neither...... it was an Arabian stallion. That would be a medium-sized horse, plenty big enough to ride, probably weighing from 800 - 1,200 lbs. and standing from 56" to 62" at the top of the shoulder (withers). When this first occured it was discussed on another forum I participate on, a horse-oriented forum, and some of the members of this forum posted the newspaper article from their local paper, which had a little more information. Yep, happened in their neighborhood.

On the one hand, I can see why there are no laws against this. I mean, it's not against the law to run over your own head, is it? Why make a law against doing such a dim-witted thing?

The whole thing is just incredible. Let's hope the guy that died either did not have any kids, or that the kids are WAY smarter than their old man. I have no idea what will happen to the owners of this pleasant little "farm" but I do have some suggestions.

How would such a law affect the bull semen collecting business? I've seen how this is done, and it isn't pretty. It involves a cow dummy, with a man inside who, errr, manually strokes the bull until the semen can be collected. Semen from a prize bull sells for big money, believe it or not!
 
Who says it cruel??? You can legally clip a dogs ears and tail. Mutilating the dog and causeing him pain. Thats not cruelty? But getting boned by a horse is cruelty to the horse. I dont see how.

This is more about peoples religious/sex hangups.

(Did I just defend horse boning??!?!?)
