Lets do a Cameron & Comfort vid for Youtube

I've started this thread to see if any of you are interested in trying to put together a video debunking a few of Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort's claims about evolution and posting it to youtube. Let me state up front, I'm not interested in arguing about theism vs. atheism vs. Christianity vs. whatever. I'm only interested in pointing out their scientific errors regarding evolution vs. C/ID in:

- The banana video
- The peanut butter video
- Their appearance on 20/20

The main reason I don't want it to get into the theism/atheism debate is I'd like to share it when complete with TE friends of mine and I'd like to just stick to the science and the C/IDer/evoution claims.

Good idea. If you want to effectively debunk Ray and Kirk's videos, I think two things are important:

- The video should be presented by a charismatic person who speaks as well as those guys: an actor who can deliver phrases with conviction without overdoing it.

- The arguments should be clear and non-technical, readily understandable by the sort of people who will swallow Ray's coke ban + banana demonstration.

I'd certainly be interested in helping with a script, for instance in giving ideas for possible lines of reasoning or proposing corrections.

If it's being shot in NYC, I volunteer to be one of the performers. I'm a master thespian, I'm quite charming, and I've seen like every episode of Growing Pains.

Cool. I'm wondering if I have the mad skilz to put together a rebuttal to Kirk's insipid remarks on Nightline because I'd want it to include graphics of transitional fossils and links for more information. I'd still like to do my own because the more there is out there to rebut WOTM's nonsense the better so I'll keep thinking about it.

And it's not the crocoduck I'm worried about contering, it's the ignorance (and hubris if I dare say so) that thinks such a being is what evolution predicts.
