I made the mistake of commenting on the movie, "Expelled", on the Yahoo movie review forum not knowing they posted your email address or at least posted enough of it that it wasn't hard to figure out.
Anyway, so far this is only the second person to send me a direct email because of my movie review. I thought maybe a few people from the forum might like to set this guy straight. Here's what he sent me. Pretty weird since I don't know the guy. You'd think people would be happy just posting their own entry in the blog, but I guess some people take things more personal.
I plan to send him a link to this thread and if he wants to discuss it, invite him here to do so. But feel free to email him in case he doesn't register on the forum. I suppose using ignorant in the title won't look very inviting but it is the proper word to describe someone uneducated about a subject and he clearly is.

Funny he equates religious opposition to science as evidence science opposes religion now.Date: Mon, 5 May 2008 09:55:57 -0700 (PDT)

It is weak to just blanket wash the discussion of lies and to state that "genetic science has proved it". Nothing related to the origin of species has been proven by "genetic science". The arguments hit at the weakness of Darwin's theory, which is the origin of species. There are several more points which it did not address that should have been. The question of probabilities is a very valid question and one that has most evolutionists just responding "Oh well, they may be astronomically low, but they exist". Utter non-sense. The lack of discussion on this comes from a religious determination of academia to not have it discussed, even though they'll admit that the questions are valid. It easily reminds one of the resistance of the Catholic Church to the arguments of Copernicus, Galileo and Torricelli in the middle ages. Their "truth" is more important than listening to any counter arguments.
