Says the Emperor of the Mississippi White Knights (the group's ritual leader), who asked not to be identified: "Locally, every place that has come under black rule has declined, and has declined sharply." He cited Jackson, Miss., and Washington, D.C., as examples. "Not all black people are particularly bad people," the emperor adds. But leadership, he asserts, "is just not in their character ... it's just not in their ability." The Obama campaign did not return requests for comment.

BTW for once they were handled the right way. Let them parade around in their (very Bad) Halloween costumes, mouth their idiocies and proclaim to the world what a bunch of morons they are. Violent Anti Klan demonstartions just gives them what they want.

If they want fancy titles, why don't they join The Society For Creative Anarachronism? The titles sound a lot better and you don't have to hate anybody to join.

In second thought, forget it. We of the SCA do not want these creeps around.
In fact our rules strictly forbid racial or religious discrimination of any kind.

What is that Prison Planet thing all about :confused: Is it some sort of conspiracy site?

The above is from a bit on the liquidity crisis being fake.

The Bank lends $300,000 and it is used to buy a house. The seller takes $300,000 and will (unless going off to be a Trappist monk or something) pay off an existing mortgage or buy another house. If property prices increase, it doesn't matter if the borrower defaults because the Bank get the house and the loan is covered. If house prices drop and the borrower defaults then the Bank loses on the deal. If lots of the debts are to potential defaulters and the collateral is falling in value across the board then the Banks will have more potential bad debt than liquidity to cover it.

The Alex chap from Prison Planet cites the Japanese Banks as sitting on the cash the Japanese Government gave in the 1980s as proof there was no liquidity crisis - what did he expect them to do? - go and lend it to more dodgy debtors? The lack of confidence in the market is because the Banks cannot cover their provisions for potential bad debts. This causes a run on Banks (investors trying to get out before it hits the fan) If the Banks can cover their potential liabilities confidence returns. In the long run much of the cover might not be needed and the money will be unused and the tax-payer will get the money back (they might not, like, but that is the trouble with provisions - they might crystallise as worst case scenarios).
 
Yes, PrisonPlanet is a conspiracy site. The first I ever heard of Alex Jones, its owner/lead loon, was when he bullhorned crowds at Ground Zero that "9/11 Was An Inside Job."

There are all kinds of links between racist paranoiacs and more garden-variety paranoiacs. Hard to tell with this one, but then I don't really want to know, either.
 
Everyone is in on the conspiracy and out to get them - if only everyone was normal like them it would be OK. ;)

There's no organizational continuity between these Klans and the Klan broken up by the federal government in the 1960s. Nor the earlier Klan that had so much power in the 1920s and was broken up by the federal government in the 1940s (because of Nazi connections).

So there isn't "still" a Klan. Any bunch of racist dopes can get together and call themselves the Klan, complete with imperial titles, etc.

It's the closest they will ever get to being taken seriously, mostly by radical leftists who show up to beat on them.

Actually, the Klan has been fractured since the late 40's, with more then a dozen different Klans claiming to be the authenitic Klan.
