FLINT, Michigan (AP) -- -- A group of children hunting for Easter eggs Saturday during a church event found two loaded handguns outside an elementary school.

Flint police said officers were called to the scene and also recovered a BB gun and a broken toy gun on the grounds of Gundry Elementary School. No one was injured, Sgt. Michael Coote said.

I'm happy that most churches have absolutely no problem with Easter eggs. But...

What kind of complete effing moron accidentally (I'm hoping it was accidentally) drops a loaded handgun in a schoolyard? "Oh...whoopsie!"

The parties responsible must not be permitted to breed.

Should be a piece of cake finding the person who owns the guns. Just look up the serial numbers.....

I hope it's that easy, and that the guns weren't stolen or anything. Perhaps that wouldn't matter - I'm unfamiliar with the logistics involved in a case like this. I'm just happy nobody got hurt I guess.
