You offer as examples, media organizations which are difficult to close down for any single topic. BBC has broadcast shows both for and against the OCT. Popular Mechanics published an article defending the OCT. South Park is not a media source like the others you list. From viewing several of their videos, they seem to be sometimes for and sometimes ridiculing overzealous Truthers.

Kevin Barrett has been hurt from his own experience of being fired for talking about 9/11 in his classes, and makes an emotional over statement. But, Geraldo Rivera and Judge Napolitano are doing just fine, even though they have publicly stated there is something very odd about Building 7.

You are correct in calling Kevin out on his hyperbole. He should have said that questioning the Official Conspiracy Theory MAY have a negative impact on one's career. Not that "If A, then B". Questioning 9/11 has decreased my income as a US Government contractor. But there are things in life that are more important than money.

It would be so easy to stop questioning 9/11, close my eyes to the clues of an extremely clever crime, and "go along" with the "normal" crowd. Many JREFers would call me a "smart guy" if I agreed with the OCT. But inside, I would feel bad for possibly letting the murderers of 3000 people get away with it. Truthers are just asking for a standard criminal investigation, where commissioners don't quit, calling it a farce. If it turns out the FBI finds enough evidence to formally charge OBL, then great.

Speaking truth against the majority takes sacrifice, but is worth it. People question 9/11, out of a deep caring for truth, justice, and making the American way good again.

The FBI did perform a criminal investigation. The good news is, it wasn't standard. It was, deservedly, the biggest, most resourceful criminal investigation in the USA, ever.
The Commission that you allude to, however, wasn't tasked to do a criminal investigation. Instead, their task was to analyse policies, structures and organization of public administrations.

You are conflating two things that righfully were separate. And you know it. I call that "dishonest".

Ok, this needs to be cleared up. Barrett was never fired. He was an untenured lecturer who simply was not renewed and was only brought in as a temporary replacement to begin with. I don't recall whether it was because the faculty member he was replacing was retiring or on sabbatical, but the point was that Barrett was never permanent faculty to begin with. He was only there on a semester-to-semester basis, and people should note that he continued to lecture at the University of Wisconsin even after he gained notoriety.

Now, whether or not he was not renewed as a consequence of his 9/11 beliefs or not is a legitimate question. But however minor it is, the detail regarding his leaving of the University of Wisconsin needs to be accurate here. He was not "fired". He served out the periods of time he was contracted for.

Your posts are often evidence free. Sometime you post useful info, from your knowledge of planes. But this one was just baseless utterances and accusations. Then you think you are "winning" - like losing Charlie Sheen.

If you refuse to look at the evidence, that doesn't mean it is not there. Evidence is abundant. That's the reason over 1487 people who know buildings call for a new investigation. Even 100 architects and engineers are enough to call the official story into question, which is evidence free.

We are asked to believe that a few skinny guys with box cutters overcame a plane full of stronger American men? With all their monitors, NORAD didn't see what house wives saw on CNN? Buildings falling at near free-fall speed? Small hole at the Pentagon? Put options just on AA and UA? Government resistance to releasing information? The FBI said it does not have enough evidence to indict Osama Bin Laden for 9/11? Then you criticize critical thinkers for questioning the story?

You stated in a previous post that you had 9/11 all figured out on day 1. You brag about jumping to conclusions, as if that is a critical thinking virtue.

As for gullible, we shall see in the long run who were the gullible.

Kevin Barrett's son started blogging under "Debunking Dad" but has deleted those blogs, it was probably just a new source of embarrassment for the lad. Still online however, is Kevin's response to his son, where he proves that when Silverstein said "pull it" the inescapable conclusion is controlled demolition. The guy is obviously nuts, that's what killed his career. We don't let insane people teach sane people... We can safely add "9/11 Truth will kill your relationship with your family" to the list, which many of us have seen happen.
