Kerry supporter in Pakistan

Beyond this I really don't know what I can add. I must say that our moslem brothers have some snappy headgear. This particular example looks a bit like a sweater sleeve artfully wrapped about his head.

While this man holds undoubted sway amongst his religious bretheran on matters sartorial (for reasons that are obvious), I am not sure that these credentials warrent his weighing in on political matters. IMHO, naturally.

He also does look a bit distressed as though he has a gas bubble. This is apt to make one cranky.

He looks a bit Jewish too. Might this contribute to his crankiness?

I know. The realization is a bit frightening. I think that Bush knows this and also knows that he would be mocked by the effete Hollywood types if he tried it himself.

These people are bold in their fashion statements, it is as simple as that.

Also, a question.

These rather incontinent looking fellows all seem to "call on Moslems" to do something or other. Well, do they really expect that 1,000,000,000 Moslems are just going to hop to and do what they say? Are they deranged? Could they call on them to do something a bit more striking like, say, stand on one leg for an hour? What is the "call on" business? Do we do that here? I guess so but everone ignores it. These folks are very silly. Except their headgear, naturally.

Let me add that they would be a whole boatload more amusing if they didn't have the disturbing tendency to whimsically slaughter innocents on occasion. I guess that one has to take the bitter with the better.

That never stopped AUP.

It is often said among Jews, that Lebanese men look like what Jewish men wish they looked like. Ralph Nader is an exception.

Just goes to show that the animosity isn't racial. :p :D

Wosssisname is a bit too white for a Pakistani, but it takes all kinds!

I noted this on one of your photos and I thought that we might also discuss, aside from headgear, the deplorable state of art in the middle east.

At the very least, this work does not have much subtlety. I suppose we should take some solice in the fact that they spelled "USA" correctly but this is not enough to rescue this rather pedestrian work.

The use of a left hand is banal in the extreme and predictable by all but the most hopeless. The rather generic jet(?) betrays a certain laziness (if meant to be representative) or lack of creativity (if meant to be symbolic). All in all this piece is not going to win any ribbons anytime soon.

As Graddaddy Rastus always said "You can't be too rich or too white, even if you are a Paki".

That Rastus was a card.

It's to W's credit that he doesn't go it in for fancy uniforms. It's one thing to dislike his politics, quite another to make him the root of all evil. That's insane.

Any of our photoshop mavens able to insert W's face into this pic?

Preferably put his face in place of Qadaffi (or however you spell it).

But W with his arm around Qadaffi is OK too.
