Kerry Finds God

Kerry gave a big speech last week about how his faith is so "important" to him. In this attempt to convince the American people that we should consider him for president, he announced that his favorite Bible verse is John 16:3.

Of course (we all HOPE) the speech writer meant John 3:16, but nobody in the Kerry campaign was familiar enough with scripture to catch the error. And do you know what John 16:3 says?

John 16:3 says; "They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me."

There's nothing too it. I got that in a spam and looked it up before I posted it. I knew it was a false rumor.

I like to test the waters on occasion. I admit it when someone calls me on it. I have done this many times and people never question whether it was authentic or not.

Granted religion doesn't mix well on this board. I thought it was funny.
