But Karl appears to be 'out there' a lot of late. Why? Why put him out there so much and so often?

Better said, why is he allowing/dictating that he be put out there so much and so often? He's certainly effective. Dems are very cautious not to quickly attack back for fear that his attack was just bait. You certainly have to respect the guys talent for political science.

So . . . why?
