Has anyone seen the footage of John Lennon, reading a letter from a fan who claimed to have information from a Ouija board, warning that he'd be assassinated in New York ? And claiming that the source for his information was Brian Epstein ?

If so, what are your thoughts on this matter?
Coincidence ?
Did it influence Mark David Chapman ?

Linky?

Anyone can make a video of a Ouija board "predicting" something after the fact. What could possibly make you think it was done before? Your will to believe? Gullibility? The video said so?

Predicting the past is incredibly easy. Anyone can do it.

1) Why would John Lennon be filmed reading a letter?
2) Why didn't the letter-writer come forward right after the killing to say "OMG!! I wrote to John warning him about this!!" ?

My thoughts:
It's a hoax.

ETA: I've found the source for the claim that a fan wrote to Lennon about Brian Epstein coming through in an Ouija board session and warning about an assasination attempt, but no mention of any footage. It's a wannabe-Saliva Browne who's spamming everywhere with the same claim, identical wording.

It was during his Hair Peace Bed Peace protest with Yoko Ono

Its quite clear from watching the full clip, that its a coincidence, however if you had only seen the partial clip, it would seem quite eerie. The letter predicted he'd be assassinated on March 6th 1970. Out by 10 years, 9 months and two days.

It also claimed "Paul McCartney is alive in London".

Exactly right. You've got to admit it's spooky.
