(1) Put Saddam Hussein back in charge and withdraw all US troops.

(2) Ask UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan to shine Kerry's shoes.

(3) Tone of voice by Howard Dean. Words as follows: "Lincoln was a Republicrat! Lincoln was a Republicrat! Lincoln was a Republicrat!"

It,s the 21st century, if you can not move on from the last century's left v right political backbiting, you wil end up fighting each other in the rubble of the American dream while China and the new Europe take the biggest share of the global pie. :hit:

Some women who were wearing neither shirts nor bras wanted to persuade me to buy their invisible shirts. Now someone who chooses to send a message by means of a cartoon character hitting another cartoon character with some kind of weapon is giving a lecture on nonviolence in the 21st century.

How long, oh Lord?

:o

(1) That sounds like a prophecy directed against the USA or directed against me personally.

(2) How do you know that I'm not already a resident of China or of the new Europe?

(3) What prevents me from becoming a citizen of China or a citizen of the new Europe?

(4) Why shouldn't some other nation get the biggest share of the global pie? Why would that be a problem, provided that my nation has enough?

Unlike most members of this forum, I listened to the Westminster speach live.

Yes, it was utter and complete horsesh1t. The thing is, Iraq is a complex situation and there is no easy fix. Now, who is going to have a better grasp of the situation, the hundreds of people in the executive branch currently analyzing it or a busy senator on the campaign trail? It was unfair of Kerry's handlers to put him in that situation. If anything, he should refrain from comment.

If anything, Kerry should just say that as president he will to the best of his abilty see that the mission is accomplished. This leaves him out of laying out the details and gets in a zing on the popular leftist bashing of "mission accomplished".

After that speach, I surmised that Kerry needs to dump his crew. Look at the difference Karen Hughes has made since coming back to help Bush. Kerry needs someone like that to shake up his campaign.

(1) can a prophecy be directed ?

Do I know or care about you or the U S ? I think not, as I can only form my opinion from the impression you both give ............... you give me the impression of the kinda guy who takes things personaly.

(2) You have a interest in U S politics.

(3) Nothing in theory.

(4) I agree....... but how will your nation know when it has had enough, will it not just eat and eat untill it is sick.

That's a good question. If a prophecy is made about a specific individual and no doer is specified, then is it a prophecy or a threat? For example, "You will spend two months in purgatory!" Is that a prophecy or a threat? "You will spend two days in prison." If my father is a judge, then is that a prophecy or a threat?

Well I am certainly not being being threating, possibly a tad over dramatic, we may be 4 or 5 thousand miles apart but basicaly have the same ideals, a 100 years ago the British Empire stood where you are now looking at a blank new century with a self satisfied smile with nealy a third of the world coloured red on the map, it did not take long for that to go tits up, change was in the air then and it's in the air now, like the calm before a thunder storm. the events of the past few years are the clouds gathering, not the storm it self, the radical left right thing died a death with the old USSR, things have moved on, we have to evolve or die, that rule never changes.
