Flipping channels on Friday night, I was surprised to see that Edwards was back on the air on the WE network.

I was able to watch about half of the program before I just couldn't take it anymore.

I was absolutely horrified. Not by Edwards; by the audience. Edwards was missing left and right, while his studio audience was always there to rescue him everytime he was in trouble. Are these people paid actors or hand picked loyal fans, that are expected to help Edwards con people? It was so bad , I was actually embarrassed for them.

Just deperate people who are willing to suspend disbelief to hear what they want to hear--that they're loved ones are still around.

Mostly they are hand-picked. They'll let anyone in with a ticket, but in the past Edwards has put regular clients in the audience, and is not above throwing out things that they told him eariler. They also interview people and feed Edwards information from the interview. :(

You all have a lot of patience being able to watch him for that long. My personal best is about a minute and a half.

Have you ever seen the Pet Psychic from England that used to be on Animal Planet? I managed only forty-five seconds for that nonsense.

I actually met her at a local book store. I didn't know she was there for a signing, I was just looking for a book. I saw a bunch of people gathered in the back, where they usually have speakers, and went to see who was going to be there. No pets were allowed in the store, but she could do a reading off pictures. I blurted out "Are you F---ing kidding me!" and left.

I was actually there to buy Flim-Flam . I was going to have her sign it, but didn't want to sit through the whole thing.

I lasted about three minutes...more disappointed that there were so many people--gullible people--in the audience.

Found Edweird while channel surfing the other night. Turned the sound off and just watched the visual. I found I could tell what was going on just the same; Johnny made his spiel, I saw him mouthing, "Do you understand?"; his subjects of the moment exchanged meaningful looks and cried; no words needed. Switched channels after a sudden attack of gastritis.

I've never watched. Just seeing the advert made me ashamed to be an animal. :-(
