John: Okay. The reason why she's the one who's coming through acknowledging this is because she's making me feel like she knows what it feels like to have lost substantially, and I think anybody in this room and watching this right now knows exactly (woman was quite emotional throughout a good part of the reading) -- you know. They understand how difficult this is for you to sit here and be able to do this. But she's the one who's doing this, making me feel like I need to say this, okay? Now, you knew her?
Woman: Yes, very well.
John: Was she not really fond of you?
Woman: Oh, no. We were very close.
John: (questioningly) Really?
Woman: Yeah. Well, I hope so. I hope so. (laughter)
John: I've got to give it as I'm getting it, all right? And I've gotta tell you that I think that these were -- um -- and maybe it was just in the beginning? But she's clearly letting me know that you weren't one of her favorites.
Woman: That's fine.
John: When she was HERE, naturally. And I'm sure that substantially changed over the time, because look what she's doing for you today, okay?
Woman: That's right.
John: But I have to give it as it's coming across, and she's making -- the only other way I could actually be misinterpreting this is if at one point YOU thought that she wasn't fond of you, (nods) and that she might have been paying more attention to somebody else and she was using the description of it as an issue to bring up, I don't know.
