This coming Monday, November 12, the internationally renowned medium John Edwards will be on the programme with Kerri Anne. His show Crossing Over is seen around the world, and he is currently back in Australia.

While he can't answer specific questions through emails, if you have a general question or comment that you'd like raised with him, please just send it to us by return email.

You think? They have no plan to please skeptics. This show has 'psychics' on every week. Also, Edward just won't talk about real skeptics.

Then, 150-300 people send emails to the show, asking about the JREF Challenge, or other things of interest.

I know: Not one of them will be answered, or even acknowledged to exist. All questions will be totally uncritical of John Edward and psychics in general.

Then, go to the press and ask a simple question:

Why does the show refuse to acknowledge that there are viewers skeptical of psychics?

If the show is not intended to appear unbiased, the producers should at least make it clear that they are only interested in questions that are uncritical of psychics.
 
All of this is just another good reason not to watch Kerri Anne. I'm usually at work, but the times I have watched this show it has been insufferable.
 
Are they having John Edward (psychic) or John Edwards (U.S. Presidential candidate)?

I see two different spellings in the OP.

Reminds me of the postcard Montel Williams sends out in place of a real response. Probably you'd get a useful Mornings with Kerri Anne tote bag.

E-mailing could be worth a try but seeing the way Montel operates in the US with regard to Sylvia Browne, obviously these shows aren't interested in real intellectual or scientific debate. I've never seen this show but it sounds like it's catering to the unquestioning. IMO the real solution is more and more programs, books, and web sites to educate the unquestioning population who watches them.

Thanks for the video. Hopefully, Kerri Anne will keep some of Mark Mayer's words in mind and treat John Edwards a little more skeptically. There is hope when TV hosts are exposed to rational explanations. I remember that Barbara Walters changed her mind about Uri Geller after interviewing Randi and watching him repeat the same tricks.

The answer is no she won't. Take a look at her on this video. Her eyes give it away. She is totally skeptical ..... of Mark! She did not what she was saying when she said Edward uses cold reading and Edward has been on her show again since Mark Mayer.
 
Perhaps more satire - southpark style - would help. I would love to see the Chaser boys stop JE in the street somewhere...
