Many of us have read about this individual who has made all sorts of claims which just do not stand up to even the simplest scrutiny. Indeed most have already been totally discredited.

Now we have his biggest and proveable blunder. On 6th May 2006 the Daily Mirror quoted his “information” which he claimed came to him directly from the murdered Sally Anne Bowman.

Namely that the killer, who he thought was a delivery driver, was 24-26, had a first name of Stephan or Stephen and a surname of White. Following DNA evidence the police today have charged 35 year old Mark Dixie who is a chef.

So once again this fool has got it totally wrong and has been further discredited as being a complete psychic incompetent. Hopefully the police will be in touch with him and charge him with wasting their time.

Can we all email him/his manger (via his web site Office telephone: 020 7511 4122) and ask for an explanation and statement.

I'd make the humiliation more public if possible. How about a letter campaign to the local and national press, with details. Current affairs programs may be interested too.
 
We all saw this one coming - even if he didn't! The man is so publicity hungry he will stoop to any level as a self professed 'psychic medium profiler'.

He has also consistantly claimed a major part in assisting the police in two other crimes - claims which have been completely demolished - one by the police themselves and the other by the passing of time.

Thats the one Mojo! The one who was shown the house and park etc. I have emailed Power's management regards todays developments.

As sad as it is,I do hope her parents feel foolish for "begging police to listen" to the medium.

I would prefer they feel angry enough about it to give the failure as much publicity as they gave him beforehand.

Can we be careful to point out that a person has been arrested, but that person has not been tried and convicted of any offence at this time. We do not know that this is the killer.
 
Therefore JP will have no hesitation in immediately and publically reconfirming all the details that he has previously given on this case. But do not hold your breath.

What does that have to do with calling his manager.He's still a fraud,and a liar and deserves hounding.
I think its pretty certain the suspect is the killer.

Several people have opined as such. Still, we do not know. I thought we were skeptics here. After this person has been convicted of the crime we may legitimately accost Joe Power over the facts. Until then, we know nothing.

Even then...

People do get wrongly convicted.

What we really need to watch out for is Power claiming that his information led to the arrest, or helped the police in any other way.
